It started with an idea— to make a women’s team that would compete with the best. But after our first meeting, it became clear that there were not a lot of esports events where women’s teams could compete. The only rational decision was to start a league from scratch. This league was going to solidify the empowerment of women in esports, and be a place of healthy competition for female professional gamers and those who are starting out. Such a simple vision brought forth the involvement of passionate individuals from all over the local esports community and led to the launch of Liga Adarna within a few months.
The first season was tough. There were long hours, technical difficulties, and a whole lot of doubt from people who would not recognize the potential of women as prominent figures in the esports scene. Despite all these, the first event was a success in getting people together and igniting the momentum of Liga Adarna. Since then, we’ve organized numerous seasonal and special events which have only been getting bigger and better.
We persevere, we push boundaries, and we shift perspectives.
Kami ang Liga Adarna.
We envision a competitive and prolific battleground for women in esports to thrive, thus empowering the entire local gaming industry into the world stage.
We aim to revolutionize the esports landscape by breaking all kinds of barriers and creating world-class experiences and content.
